Veterans Ministry

We Are Veterans

I have commanded those I prepared for battle; I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath—those who rejoice in my triumph. ~ Isaiah 13:3 (NIV)

The church has leaders and members who are veterans with a heart for their fellow veterans and their families. Located in the City of Albuquerque which has numerous veteran support agencies, veterans groups, and a large VA Hospital, the church (as well as the local Body of Christ) is ideally situated to minister to the spiritual needs of not only its own members who are veterans but also a much larger group of veterans.

Veterans have sacrified a lot and have specialized challenges dealing with physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual pain.

Veterans have served their country, leaving the comforts of home and often put themselves in harm’s way. Our mission is to support them now as “soldiers of Jesus Christ.”

Rev Burton is a US Marine Corps Veteran having spent many years overseas, including deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. An active member of the American Legion Post #49.
